What a great story! It's much more clever than I knew (or understood) whenever I first read it, which must have been years and years and years ago. In fact, I'm not sure I ever did read it. It's one of those stories that's so deep in our collective consciousness now that I may just have known the whole story without ever having read it.

Of course, the entire time I had that Jefferson Airplane song in my head.
