An excellent example of the graphic novel genre, recommended by Ben. I read it twice: first to gobble up the story—about a fictional Jewish baseball team, the Stars of David—and again to better take in the images. It's easy to breeze through a comic book without noticing the care that went into it, but I like to slow down and notice the careful pacing, the images that the author selected, the size of the panels, etc., and James Sturm does a masterly job of it all here.
