Whoops, I just posted without writing about the baby.

Friday morning I looked in his mouth for the first time in a long time and there are two teeth coming in on the bottom! No wonder he's been kind of fussy.

He is starting to try out consonants, sort of, but instead of recognizable syllables like "ba-ba-ba" it's more often something like "pppppssssshhhhhkkkkkkkllllllllllll" (with lots of bubbles spilling out of his mouth for effect).

He is working on rolling from his back to his tummy but he hasn't mastered it yet, so he gets stuck with one arm pinned beneath him and his face smushed on the floor, and he cries and we have to rescue him. Hope he gets the hang of it soon.
