Borrowed
March 07, 2007

In what must be a first for me, I have five books checked out of the library, and none is fiction.

Sleep: the Brazelton Way (Brazelton)
Sleeping Through the Night (Mindell)
Solving Your Child's Sleep Problems (Ferber)
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Buying and Selling a House
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Mortgages

This is what fills my brain these days: nap strategies and dreams of a new house where the baby gets his own bedroom ...

Um, yeah, could I like borrow those mortgages books? Seems I'm in the house-hunting mode too.

If you are open to other sleep books, we liked "Good Night, Sleep Tight." The "Sleep Lady's" suggestions have worked well for Adena.

I am a Ferber devotee. I always swore I would never CIO, then my kid didn't sleep and I got desperate (and I tried the No Cry Sleep Solution, which completely didn't work). Feber has a terrible reputation, but he's actually much less crazy than Weissbluth. I have got to be the only mama who loves Dr. Sears and Dr. Ferber. I am going to lose all my attachment parenting street cred.
