Yes, I'm back from Spain
September 06, 2005

No, I haven't had time or energy to post any of my pictures*, just a few minutes to download them and wade through them once. Things are extra-busy at work this week as we prepare for next week's six-day "Train the Trainer" session.

*I did however upload a picture M. took of me while I posed by a fountain at Salvador Dali's house (I was actually posing for JR, who took another picture of me, with my camera).

Meanwhile, I'm planning my next trip: France (Paris, Normandy) and Italy (Florence) in October.

I keep telling myself, this lifestyle -- jet-setting, globe-trotting -- whatever you want to call that which filled my passport with so many stamps I had to add extra pages -- probably won't last forever, but I'm going to enjoy it while it does.

Holy cow! You are home already? How was it? Super fantastic? Love the photo by the fountain. Your bag is almost listo para mandar. Shoot me an email when you get a chance so we can do the swap-a-roo.

i guess because i work with high school students, i'm particularly sensitive to this: are you flashing gang signs? ;)

i look forward to reading more about your trip when you get a chance!

Hmmmm, I'm not deliberately flashing any gang signs, but it's funny you ask: In Sa Riera (Spain) there were a bunch of young people with mopeds and I kept referring to them as the "hooligans" in the "scooter gang." We joked about flashing them the right sign so they'd know we were cool, man ...

They don't call it the "deathbed diet" for nothing!
