Tabaski is tentatively scheduled for Friday the 21st (pending the decision of the Commission de la Lune). Last year, in the weeks before Tabaski, one of the streets near our house slowly turned into the biggest sheep market in town. I've decided to take a picture of the street every day, to chart the progress, and to share the Tabaski fun with you!
Here's the view today looking toward the Koulikoro road. Note that cars are actually able to drive down it.
