My new scanner is almost here! I'm so excited. I'm something of a late adopter, and I get stressed about big purchases (i.e., more than $100), so I say "I need to get a ____" for a while (weeks, months) until the thing gathers some momentum; then I do some idle research, scoping out the field; and at last I spend frantic days narrowing down choices and comparing and agonizing; so by the time I finally purchase something it's been months or years of anticipation. Other recent changes are of a "behind the scenes" nature, at least for now. I installed two new utilities, Refer and Google Hilite (courtesy of Textism). Two other new projects are in the works, and that's all I'll say about that.
