News: I have launched my online portfolio! If you are interested in my services—web design, photography, writing, and editing—please visit my professional site at Robin Elaine Taylor.com and get in touch.

robin in the real world

I grew up in Maryland, went to college in North Carolina, then lived in Washington, DC, for seven years before moving to Bamako, Mali, in the fall of 2003. My husband and I rent a house in the Hippodrome quartier in the northeast part of town.

Now I'm a volunteer with Geekcorps Mali, responsible for the Web Services objectives of our project. I also, as noted above, do freelance projects.

Here is a map of countries I've visited (in red). Click to see a larger version.

The latest addition to my empire is RobinElaineTaylor.com, my online professional portfolio site.

This is AmericanRobin 3.0, served from AmericanRobin.net. (Previously: AmericanRobin 2.0, AmericanRobin 1.0, IntolerableIrony). The content is structured with XHTML 1.0 and the presentation is controlled entirely with CSS 2.0. If it doesn't look pretty to you, you could update your browser. Or not; the information will still be there without the pretty formatting.

Elsewhere, you can see my Flickr, my contributions to the Mirror Project (also this one), and my poor neglected Fotolog.
